1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Adalwin.org, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Adalwin.org is operated by Adalwin Commerce LLP, Pune, Maharashtra, India.

2. What Adalwin Does

Adalwin.org is a platform that facilitates the donation of pre-loved items between individuals. We provide the technology for listing, verification, matching, and delivery coordination. Adalwin is not a party to any donation — we connect donors and recipients but do not own, inspect (beyond volunteer verification), or guarantee items.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• One account per person — multiple accounts may be suspended.

4. User Roles

Adalwin supports three roles. You may hold more than one role on a single account:

• Donors list items they wish to give away for free. Items must be functional, safe, and accurately described.
• Recipients browse and request items they need. Requests are subject to donor approval.
• Volunteers verify item condition, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and help build community trust.

5. Listing Rules

• All items must be offered completely free of charge. No selling, bartering, or hidden fees.
• Items must be legal to own and transfer in India.
• Prohibited items: weapons, hazardous materials, expired medicines, counterfeit goods, items with active recalls, and anything illegal under Indian law.
• Descriptions and photos must accurately represent the item's current condition.
• Adalwin reserves the right to remove listings that violate these rules.

6. Trust Scores and Verification

Trust scores are calculated based on completed donations, volunteer verifications, and community feedback. Scores are meant to help users make informed decisions — they are not guarantees. Attempting to manipulate trust scores (fake donations, coordinated reviews) will result in account suspension.

7. Liability

• Adalwin facilitates connections but does not guarantee item quality, safety, or fitness for any purpose.
• Users are responsible for inspecting items before accepting delivery.
• Adalwin is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of donated items.
• Volunteer verification is a best-effort service, not a professional inspection or warranty.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the platform to sell items or solicit payments.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users.
• Creating fake accounts or impersonating others.
• Listing items you do not own or do not intend to give away.
• Scraping, reverse-engineering, or abusing the platform's infrastructure.

9. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or harm the community. You may appeal a suspension by emailing support@adalwin.org.

10. Intellectual Property

The Adalwin name, logo, design, and platform code are the property of Adalwin Commerce LLP. User-generated content (photos, descriptions) remains the property of the user, but by posting it you grant Adalwin a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
